Audition Information
We are not currently casting right now due to COVID-19. When we resume casting, we will be looking for candidates that fit the following criteria.
Typical Performer Criteria:
Not Just Make Believe Parties is an entertainment company specializing in bringing high quality princess events to central Ohio. We are looking to expand our cast due to a high volume of inquires. The ideal candidate looks like our characters, is outgoing, has singing or acting experience, and can think quickly. This position is part-time. Events are between 1-3 hours in length, with large events ranging from 4-13 hour days. We are looking for people who have a theatrical and/or vocal background. Applicant must be willing to travel. Look-alike performers appear in parties, stage shows, parades, meet and greets, and special events. Performers should be willing to demonstrate high-energy character levels, full range of body movement, and imaginative improvisation techniques.
Requirements:
1. At least 18 years old.
2. Experience working with children
3. Women dress size 0-8 to fit existing costumes
4. Height: 4'11" - 5'10"
5. Must be available to work Friday Nights, Weekends, Holidays and Peak Operating Seasons
6. Clean criminal background
7. Reliable transportation
8. No visible tattoos or piercings except ears
9. Ability to stand and be actively moving for 1-3 hours at a time
10. Must be authorized to work in the United States
Not Required, But Preferred:
1. Vocal performance experience
2. Dance experience
3. Theater experience
4. Willingness to travel overnight.
